We are very proud of our December String Direct Patterns.
Cables for Him is our first-time ever men’s sweater design since String opened 6 years ago. Yes, we heard your requests and we finally did it! We decided that the design had to be classic, easy enough for just about everyone, but complicated enough to be interesting, great for all body types, and OK to wear with jeans or business casual. And of course, we wanted to make it with String Dolce – the softest, most luxurious cashmere, in perfect male colors. We’re pretty proud of the finished product, and we urge you to make it. We know that it will become a key item in the wardrobe of that special someone in your life!
The Mini Merino Mia Dress is simply precious. We first did this pattern for my three granddaughters and they looked so cute that we decided to do it for String. When we saw the new sport weight Merino Mia from Prism, we knew we had the best yarn solution for the dress. Merino Mia is soft. light, and washable, and the hand-dyed colors are uniquely perfect for little girls. We are so excited about Merino Mia that we are remaking several of our baby and toddler patterns in it!
