We had so many requests for a deconstructed sweater coat that we decided to do a String version using three of our most luxurious yarns – Filatura di Crosa Superior (75% brushed cashmere; 25% silk) and Artyarns Beaded Cashmere with Sequins (75% cashmere; 25% silk) and Artyarns Silk Pearl (100% silk). To achieve the deconstructed look, we used extra large needles (US15/10mm).

We love the look we achieved and so have our many customers who have made one. Its loose, drapy fit looks great on everyone and is suitable with everything from jeans to silk skirts.

We are offering three color combination; Blues and Greeens with Black (like the original one pictured); Naturals with Browns; and Pinks and Lavenders. The detailed instructions make it clear when to change from color to color, making this a relatively easy knit, even for beginners.

We are offering it in one size fits all for Small, Medium and Large. If you need a Petite or Extra-Large, give us a call and we will work with you to customize the pattern for you.
