The Tundra Capelet is a brand new design by the acclaimed designer, Teva Durham. Teva’s designs are unique – they are edgy and urban with an organic, knitterly twist.

Teva has a passion for bulky yarns and big needles, so it is not surprising that she has introduced a new super-bulky yarn for this Fall. We just received it and are so excited about it that we wanted to introduce it to you immediately!

Tundra is a super-bulky 100% extrafine merino which is as soft as can be and is surprisingly light and lofty. Available in eight fashion-forward shades, the texture and colors enhance the details of Teva’s signature stitch motif.

The Tundra Capelet is knit on US 19 needles at 1.5 stitches per inch. The deep furrows of the purl stitches between bands of knit shape the capelet so that it can be pulled like an accordion to warm the shoulders. A perfect way to welcome Fall. Happy Knitting!
