String Direct for the 2009-2010 season has begun.
String invites you to become a member of the 2009-2010 season of StringDirect, our exclusive pattern club. StringDirect is relaunching for the new season in November.
Each month for a year, StringDirect members receive two original fashion-forward patterns direct to their home or via email. Of the two monthly patterns, one will always be an adult garment (usually a woman’s, but from time to time we will include one for a man). The second pattern will either be an accessory, an item for the home such as a pillow or afghan, or something for a baby or a child.
In addition to receiving a total of 24 original patterns during the course of the year, you will also enjoy a 20% discount on the yarn for the StringDirect projects for a 60 day period, starting from when the pattern is sent out and lasting for 60 days thereafter. These discounts are only available to StringDirect subscribers.
Each monthly packet will include printed or online color cards for the patterns’ yarns, as well as the patterns themselves and a cover letter from String giving you background on the projects. If special techniques are used, we will give you an online and offline reference to guide you through the technique. We are planning to do our own online tutorials as well as in-store tutorials at both our New York and Greenwich locations.
